So Springtime means rejuvenation to me - a time for cleansing and renewal. In with the new, out with the old, and renewal of everything else.
I do a lot of cleaning; both literally and spiritually. Well timed for this is the annual Body Spirit Soul Expo held in my city. Attending each year has become a bit of a ritual towards kicking things off for the year to come. I went yesterday with a great deal of happy anticipation. I was a bit disappointed by the rather small size (only 30 exhibitors) but nevertheless there were still things to spend my money on ![]() I found some stones for calming (I am always drawn towards green like aventurine, Moss agate, and jade). I also found some smudging supplies. I am not one for the healers and card readers but there is always something of interest to me to be found amongst the sea of such things. So my question I guess is are there things you do or look forward to as a kick off to your own Springtime renewal? |

I'm kind of running behind this spring, because I've been so feeling so low energy. The Expo you went to sounds like it was wonderful. I like the stones you mentioned, but probably the one's I'm most drawn to are lapis lazuli, selenite and rose quartz. I look forward to seeing our tulips and daffodils bloom. They're both starting to come up and I can't wait to see the blossoms. Oh, and lilacs too, though it will be a while before they start to bloom.

Ooh, I love this idea!!! What a great thread to start. I don't have any annual ritual, but I do love and embrace the whole concept of Spring renewal. Maybe I will do a smudge and clearing of my house... I have sage and me and my fiance burn it occasionally to clear the apartment of any negative energies. TY for this!

So this isn't just for us earthy types I think it applies to everyone especially what with Easter/Eostre coming up.
I washed my windows this morning. That was a big job - and the floors are smelling of pinesol too. Yeah, Spring has arrived. |
