Our beloved President and Prophet of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints passes away this past Sunday. Our thoughts and prayers go to his family.

He did a lot of very good humanitarian work, and was very loved and admired by people of many faiths.

He was a great man, and very loved. My husband said he felt Pres. Hinkley's spirit leaving this world Sunday afternoon at about 4:30. It was a couple of hours before he actually died, and nothing had been announced yet. We will miss him, but can know that he will continue his works on the other side, and it must have been a joyous welcome home that he received. I know that he missed his wife since she had gone home a couple of years ago, and now they are together again. They were a cute couple.

It is always sad when a great leader of any kind passes, but moreso when a religious leader does. Such mixed feelings! TC
