So I've had some spiritual experiences, preminitions and such and even one blind woman telling me out of the blue that I have a very rare aura. Never truly believed it. Always thought beleiving it would make my life rather difficult.

So, I wonder how you came to believe in whatever you believe in?

when I was around 4 years old, I was in my mothers car when she had

Possible trigger:

I'm not sure it's what made me believe, but it was defenetly what started it all. how do you escape a serious car accident with no injuries

you don't, unless someone is watching

I have had some pretty good experiences.

I remember 1 year we had a power outage over christmas, and the power in my house came on days before all the other houses in the street.

again, how...

and it was only after I prayed that my christmas wasn't ruined

THat however happens. The seat behind the passengers seat e.g. is safer than any others. But this is just a comment, not an attempt at an argument

I was 8 and two boys lured me on top of my parents garage. It was a flat roof. One i had a crush on. The other babysat us once. They wanted to molest me. I prayed.

They got my under ware off and saw there was no pubic hair and left me go. I was relieved, but dad was mad i got tar on my dress. It was after church. I never told him what almost happened.

I know fully well God is real. That incident proved it to me.

That's horrible, I'm glad they decided to not moles you after seeing that you were too young/ after you prayed.

I should not be alive right now or gotten away with severe physical damage.
He never left - at my worst it felt like he was holding my hand.
Other stuff will make me getting accused of being psychotic... xD So that is all for now.

You really don't have to worry about me accusing you of anything. I've spoken to God, I've seen the future, and I am agnostic. If anyone is psychotic, it is me.

I don't know that I have "proof." My spirituality is a matter of faith which by definition means much is not based on evidence, but rather on trust and belief beyond evidence.

I was raised in a Christian home in a particular denomination. My family comes from many, many generations of tradition in this particular denomination which is also very tied to our cultural traditions. My faith is very much a great part of who I am. It wasn't some recognition in my life along the way; it was what I was born into and have always had great confidence and comfort in.

It's always Christmas that does it for me. Also, Easter. I sort of lose grips with this as the days between go along.

Also, I have this outstanding feeling angels are around me. I feel presences sometimes. It is always nice to think that an angel is watching over me. Sometimes there is an overwhelming urge to pray. But to tell of an incident, I was just wondering of God existed. It came across that I didn't know the answer at all. To what I thought. Then I thought, well, I always had a natural belief in Him. I think I was in despair so much. Over having Schizoaffective disorder, bipolar type. It felt like so much. I didn't question if He were true or not for long. I had this moment where I thought I saw St. Joan of Arc. And she was trying to help me through it. So, I guess that moment sealed it down for me. I didn't like questioning my faith in Catholicism. Like I said, it was always natural for me to believe in it all, and it all sort of sounded just like it was true to me. I enjoy it when I believe in Catholicism. It is really fulfilling to me. And I am Confirmed -- St. Helena of the Cross. That is my saint name. So sometimes it seems like a go-round. (Because apparently saint names with Confirmation mean that you need to try to exhibit their story, and also because they are looking over you).

I seem to have lost the point. I love being Catholic. Sometimes I think it is because I'm coming around to loving my background/history. It was just a point of despair and it seemed to me to be really telling that I always believed in God and all the Catholic religion.

In addition to my post above, I would say contemplating things like how awesome a thunderstorm is or the vastness and greatness of the world. The scope and degree to which the complexity of human nature is as well as the sciences. Thinking and the personality uniqueness of all people. How deep a human can go. It all yells out to me that there is a creator, master craftsman, and intelligent designer of it all.

Among other reasons. I believe the Bible as the word of God because there are verses that are scientifically accurate such as the earth being round and not resting on something which most people thought differently then.

Then there's fulfilled prophecy and many other things. I also believe based on what I've read in the Bible that my faith/religion, teaches what the Bible teaches.

I do respect the right of others to choose something else.

I believe in the Biblical description of faith which is based on evidence. I believe that there is much evidence more than what I've said here.

Which verse states that the eath is round? Just asking, as I'd like to look it up.

Isaiah chapter 40 and verse 22 says that there is one dwelling above the circle of the earth. Some versions say round. The Hebrew word from what I've learned means sphere literally.

There are certain positive vibes sent out around the world while we meditate at a certain frequency that creates a positive aura. At this point when such energy is created, energy starts manifesting which seem like miracles.

When I was 4-years-old I saw a short lady with a veil on standing next to my bed, I wasn't afraid because I thought she was Mary, mother of Jesus. I looked at her and she walked away. I got up and asked my mother who the lady in my room was. She told me there was no lady. The way she responded to me made me feel like she thought I was making up stories. I went back to bed and have never seen the lady again. I still live in the home I grew up in and I still remember every detail of what happened. I don't know if it's because of this encounter but I can't recall a time when I didn't believe Jesus was real. Unfortunately, I've haven't always behaved the way I know Jesus wants me to.
