U - unusual is how people have described me. Being the same as everyone else may mean that I am just caving into public opinion.

Being myself and true to my own values is unusual in the world today where all the ads tell us to be like someone else.

V - Values are extremely important to me.

I believe my values are different from everyone else's because I am a unique individual. So I believe values should not be categorized. Thus, people should not be categorized, as if they were in baskets, based on their values. I know it's easier said than done. But I like the practice of recognizing that we as individuals are so much more than our accomplishments, our stresses, our anxieties, or whatever else. We are independent of all that stuff.
