I have a habit of calling psychics. Usually I use Keen.com, where I've had mostly a positive experience. All psychics on Keen have customer reviews, so you can know who is good and who is not good.

Yesterday I tried a new website that was advertised on Facebook. I was supposed to get a 30-minute session for just $30, but they charged me three charges - one for $30, another for $251 and another for $97!!! I am LIVID and have to dispute the charges either with their customer service center or my credit card company.

I feel SO foolish for calling this other service now. I don't have a therapist, and psychics have been invaluable to me over the years for giving me insights and direction.

I should have known better than to try a different company from an ad... I think they are frauds and I am beyond peeved that I have to deal with these extra charges.

Anyone else call psychics or believe in them? If you don't, I don't need or want to hear any negativity about it - I am just curious if anyone else has had positive experiences with online psychics? And from which sites?

I have a self set rule for myself -- never never never give out personal information aka my bank account or personal debit card or my personal credit card. if theres something I want to try online I go to my local grocery store and purchase a prepaid card. upload a limited amount of money. and use that. this way who ever is asking for my membership or fee can .....only..... get what money I am consenting to them having. they cannot get any more from the card then what I have already uploaded.

most online psychics will try and scam you out of money. instead, you might want to rely on real life in person places or places that your friends have told you are reputable places. you can also if here in America check to see what the Better Business Bureau has to say about any business in America you want to try out. you may also contact them if you feel someplace is a scam or hoax or billing you for services not rendered. they have helped me a time or two to get companies both off my back and refund my money. I dont know if they can help you with your dealings with psychics or not, but worth an idea to try.

and remember dont use your personal bank accounts, personal credit cards, or debit cards associated with your money at large. use store bought prepaid cards that you control how much money you load and how much money companies can get from you. saved me many a hassle and repeated charges when dealing with online buying, purchasing, and various forums, groups and other online activities.

Thanks though that’s not what I was looking for in posting this. I can appreciate where you’re coming from though. It’s the fault of the company and not mine, so I believe I won’t get charged.

What I mean is, I have a valid point and the company messed up in their explanation of how things work, so I have appealed to my credit card company to fight on my behalf. I don't think I will be responsible for the $251 charge - they could get me on the road $97 charge because they claim I went 2 minutes over. I don't believe I did and I told my credit card company that I did not and hung up on the beep before going over the time limit.

My main point is not about that though - my main point is about whether online psychics are truly helpful, and if anyone has found a good site for this where there are legit psychics.

I don't use online because experience has told me that most online are self-proclaimed psychics you know those who go online take a class receive a certificate then broadcast all over social media and the internet at large they are open for business and charge an arm and a leg to play the game.

I do have a friend who is "psychic" in the true sense of the word. she does not open her door for business. she hates it when she gets flashes /images of ... let's just say negative happenings so that I dont trigger anyone.

She has this bond with her family and friends where she just knows when one of us are in danger or down or good things too...whatever it is.

I was once 3 thousand miles away out of town, and she called me out of the blue. at that moment that she called I had just missed my plane to head back home and was getting another ticket for another flight.

before I could even say hello after hitting the answer call button and get the cell phone to my ear, she was shouting dont get on that plane. knowing her I immediately canceled my ticket, went to a hotel for the night.

the next morning when I went to purchase another ticket the airlines were abuzz with the fact that a plane had crashed on landing, no fatalities thanks to the pilot, some had gotten hurt, I was so glad to have followed my friend the psychic and not taken that plane that landed in the river.

most real psychics that I know don't advertise at large and they dont charge. and most dont like that they are so in tune with their friends and family. They dont like getting all these images, thoughts and so forth, I can understand because who wants to be living their life and suddenly getting thoughts of someone leaving this world or thoughts of a missing person who harm has come to them and other things that true psychics have happening to them out of their control.

to this date I have not found any online legit psychic. I have visited many websites and none so far compare to the real deal for me. the online sites I have visited did nothing for me.

heres how I know whether they are true psychics or not. make up a totally untrue story line that does not match you or your life. then call them. if they cant tell that what you are telling them is fake they are not the real deal, they are just taking what you tell them and spinning their own made up fortunes and readings based on your fake story line. a real psychic will know right away that your story and answers are made up. I really had one going one night, told them I was the owner of a zebra, donkey and chimp I was worried about my chimp. they told me my completely nonexistent made-up chimp would be fine a hard recovery but fine in the end. LMAO. that ended my search for online psychics lol

in the end only you can say whether online psychics are real for you and whether they help you.

Ok, I had to laugh. That was too funny, your made-up story to the so-called "psychic". LOL!

I, too, have run across some bad ones, but I have also found legit ones on Keen.com.

Maybe I have my own answer - stick to Keen since I know it and like it and don't venture into new territory based on a stupid ad on Facebook! Lesson learned.

BTW, that's a pretty amazing story about the plane! Good thing you did not get on it!!!
