'We are all connected in a circle, in a hoop, that never ends.'

'Colors of the Wind' Disney

this is one of my favorite quotes.. it reminds me of what a small planet we now live on.. how being connected by the internet brings people across the earth together to share pain and joy...

in all communities i have ever lived, the desire to live pain free is predominant..

when we do a small thing that offends another, it carries 'on the wind' to the next person and so affects them and then to the next, and so on and so forth... this is called 'collective consciousness'...

it is a great power we each have to affect the planet positively or negatively....

how will you use your power today?

peace, healing, and love to all

One of my favorite films nowheretorun is "Paying It Forward"..

It encapsulates your shared thoughts in that Love is greatest when given without expectation but with the hope that it will be passed on...

"For whether we are white or copper skinned
We need to sing with all the voices of the mountains"

meaning if we all could to choose to be kind to each other
share peace
we are all one voice
we all matter

'How high does the sycamore grow? If you cut it down, you may never know.'

we have learned about cutting down.. we have taken swings from the axe of 'progress'... we breathe air polluted with toxic fumes, we pass unhappiness around as if no one has yet had their fill... how much time remains for humans to learn these lessons of the Great Spirit?

when we speak unkindly or spread vicious rumors or simply support unhealthy habits, we are killing ourselves, our planet, our communities... when will we ever learn?

thanks to all for adding to this thread...

Spirit does work in marvelous ways Connectedness

many thanks to you for helping to educate myself and others about ways to overcome difficult situations and to do so with kindness...

it is so spiritually uplifting to look about and see all the good people can do together, unified in hope and determination...

people of all skin shades, eye color, language, religion and politics can share in simple acts each day that make the world a less fearful place for us all...

i hope now is a time that many will rise to this occasion as we are about to embark onto new ways of life and change is always difficult... kindness can smooth the pathway to healing...

the Earths' clock is ticking, information like this empowers individuals and creates unity for goodness in every country...

we the people of this Earth, in unity, are the source of our own salvation in many ways...

the Spirit of Mother Earth is indifferent to man's wishes... she will cycle on with or without him and his kind... it is a decision for mankind to explore... submit to the forces which exceed his control and finding ways to live in peace and harmony with it is far more attractive than some options..

we are a family of humans, connected by one life source, our Earth... divisions amongst us and the amnesia of suffering has caused us to forget how important our common home is, and this rising realization that we all will suffer equally if we do not respond with sufficient, unified effort becomes more apparent each day...

will humanity respond to the messages of peace and kindness in time to prevent a dismal fate?

it is depressing to think not...

prayers of hope, healing, and love to all..

Pay it Forward is a great movie! We say "what goes around, comes around". Someone told me that the longer it takes to come around, the more hands its touching. I like to think that the few significant gestures I make have a ripple effect and touch more people than I realize. I dont have the talent to draw a whole crowd´s attention but have faith my gifts can reach out and maybe reach the leader of a crowd. hugs,

"we are a family of humans, connected by one life source, our Earth... "

I agree with this each one of us is connected to each other and the earth.
what each and every one of us do has a effect on each other((sometimes small sometimes big)) plus on the earth
If we lose one connection
then we have lost alot
the ripple effect.......................................
just the sheeps thoughts

thank you for your contribution bloomingbud... red flags go up all around me to read the word 'leader' ... its important that all of us understand that we each are leaders.. we lead each day by our own example.. your words teach me there are others on our planet who care equally about the health of our Earth and those who dwell on her...

you have the faith and spirit i admire and that in fact we all need to have if we hope to save ourselves...

never stop caring, we all make a significant impact on our environment in word and deed... each one of us matters...
