Father, help me.
Mother, protect me.

God grant me serenity. Make me peaceful and still. Help and protect me. Please, I beg of you. Make me into who I am supposed to be, help guide me to the path which I should be taking. Help me be open to change and the love of others. I want to be a better person, more open to helping others. Help me to be a better listener. Help me with those inner nagging little lying voices. God, I ask you to help me - for I don't know how to help myself. I can't live without you, I cannot survive without your loving guidance.

This is what I pray at this time of confusion and discernment into my spiritual and religious future. This I pray at a time where I feel lost and alone and unworthy of love and respect.

God grant me the serenity to accept that not everyone is always going to like me, the courage to accept the love that others have to give, and wisdom to know how to live ethically and morally in this ever-changing world.

Learning to be comfortable with who you are, and your progress to who you think God wants you to be, is of utmost importance. Trust. God knows just where each and everyone is on the path. The main thing is to stay on the path, even when you have to sit down in the middle of it at times!

Chrissy, my love, don't forget that the path we are on is narrow and sometimes not very easy to navigate. But we have a Guide that will not leave us or forsake us. Hold to His hand tightly, Hon, and He'll lead you all the way and will carry you when the going gets too rough for you.

There are quite a few here that can also encourage you on your Journey. We can tell you where the ruts are in the road and cheer you on as you go around them.
