the point is this forum is not intended for someone to promote one faith or religion over the other....this forum is to provide spiritual support for members and families and friends in a general religious tone

you may off prayers for someone or post a spiritual poem or note...etc...

but we dont want a forum where someone bashes the Catholic Church for its past or condemn another religion as a "cult"

hope this helps

UGH! Sorry, I clicked the wrong button the first time.

I agree with you, Greg. I'm one of those who equates spirituality with religion, or at least with God. There was too much arguing going on when we were allowed to post our personal beliefs so that's why it is the way it is now.

However, if you click on "Quick Links" you'll find "Social Groups" in the drop down menu. Click on that and you will find two groups that deal with religion. If that doesn't work for you, then click on your "Notifications". On the left hand side you will also find "Social Groups". Click on that. You'll be able to tell by the names of the groups which deal with religion and which deal with other things.

Hope that helps.

For example, I consider myself to be a deeply spiritual person but I do not belong to any religion. The two can be and often are worlds apart. My own confusion lessened greatly once I realized this.

Hi Greg! You can generally find support for Christians in my blog: http://drjean.psychcentral.net

There are 2 social groups for "faith" support too.

Religion for most people is how they practice their spirituality.

So you can think of spirituality as that which transcends and goes beyond any specific religion or set of core beliefs.

We allow for spiritual talk on this particular forum, but due to past experiences amongst members, do not allow for specific religious talk. See an appropriate Social Group for religious groups.
