Today while Mom and I were out crafting it got to be lunch time and she asked me if I was hungry and I said sure I hadn't eaten anything yet and she asked me where I wanted to eat. She mentioned McDonald's and I said sure and we started back to Rogers well we got to Lowell and I said well what about Brenda's Kitchen we've never been there and I've always wanted to try it. So we ended up eating there. It was 11:55 when we stopped there and the resturant closed at noon. They still served us happily and told us that they only served breakfast and we ordered and ate. I as usual didn't finish my meal and they offered to box it up for me but I said no as we still had a few more stops to make and it was starting to warm up outside and I didn't want the food to go bad. I then mentioned that I had had bariatric surgery and that is why I hadn't ate much it wasn't that the food was bad the food was good. The waitress said that the owner wanted to have bariatric surgery but her husband was being an idiot and not letting her have it. She then went over to the owner in the corner and told her about me and how much I had lost and showed her my plate. I felt compelled to go talk to her and had a good conversation and I think gave her some good ideas on how to get her husband on board.

I think it was a God thing that got me into that resturant today at that time. I hadn't really been thinking about that place and that he would have given me that thought to stop there at just the right time for them to be able to serve us and be able to help the woman out.

Absolutely it was! good for you on talking to her. Who says there's no such thing as angels? You were her angel--God worked through you to reach her.

You just never know how He will put you in certain places at certain times. I'm glad you were able to talk to her.
