When our outpour exceeds our intake.
Are you serving more than you are seeking?

When our talk is bigger than our walk.
When did our heart and our mouth part company?

When we become "wonder junkies".
Do you often seek "highs" of one sort or another? Never are you more at risk of loosing your joy than right after a "high".

When we are exhausted.
God created the body. He knows we cannot function well when it is neglected. Are you neglecting your rest? What about eating for your body's benefit?

When we feel alone.
Beware of feelings that tempt you to believe you are all alone and that no one else cares as much as you do. Do you look outside of yourself or are you too wrapped up in your own problems?

I'd like to see a real "mighty" oak! All we've got here in CA is scrub oak.

This one really made an impression on me. It's not only logically true but spiritually true as well! We are NOT selfish to take care of self!

The oaks here in the south are massive and breath taking!

And you are right, we wear ourselves pretty thin both physically and spiritually when our out put is more than our intake. Whether it be nourishing the body or the spirit!
