I'm looking for any Wiccans who may use this website&could answer some questions for me. I'm currently a member of a New Thought church callled Unity-they're Christian based but honor ALL faiths&even incorporate other religions' beliefs into their own teachings. The only faith they don't include is Wicca&I read a lot of horror books&would lke to know truth from fiction. Thanks for any answers.

Hey Monk! You can use the advanced search up above to the right, and put in wicca, wiccan and it will show you the threads that have some info in them, and those members who are of such.

skymonk,
My daughter is Wiccan.
She does not practice "withcraft." She has a deep love of Nature and all of its' creatures. She does have her own holidays that she celebrates...
My family respects our different paths. She is Wiccan, my son is an ordained minister, and I follow the Native American spiritual path.

There are horror stories about it, some have merit. Most don't. But the same is true of any religion/denomination.
There are fanatics in everyone of them. Unfortunately society tends to judge by the actions of a few and not the majority.

This is a partial quote of the wisdom of Chief Tecumseh, Shawnee Nation.

"Trouble no one about their religion; respect others in their view, and demand that they respect yours.
Love your life, perfect your life, beautify all things in your life. Seek to make your life long and its purpose in the service of your people."

skymonk,
I forgot to mention that I've heard very good things about Unity from friends who receive their mailings.
At least I think it's the same one.
