Have you ever come across this statement in relation to schizoaffective? What is it all about? What does it mean?

Well a delusion is a fixed false belief. That means you continue to believe it regardless of new information that you receive proving it to be false or illogical. It's inflexible and 'fixed' in your mind.
Thanks for this!

Usually (at least in my case) the person with the fixed false belief has some kind of logic behind it, hence the refusal to give up the delusion. For instance, Santa Claus is magic, which is how he's "real".
