I am schizoaffective, and although it may be obvious to you already in your life, the main challenge to me is to believe in reality. I absolutely can't think hard for too long and do DBT and CBT to challenge the false thoughts. But I am coming to a place where there are definate advantages of doing some type of exercise to stimulate reality in your life.
Mine include praying a lot, speaking to myself truths I do know, making gratitude lists, when my prayers can't get thru I talk about my belief problems to another person and get their perspective, and get out and do something productive if I'm not being productive. I hope what I've learned helps somebody here
