I've gotten in touch with 2groups by teleconference for schizophrenia and related disorders. They've been a big help for me,besides therapy and a pdoc. I also go to a bi polar group since schizoaffective is between both. Look up SARDAA for times of the meetings. It's good to have people there sharing about hallucinations etc but not in person which brings up so much more anxiety for me. Anyone else find out about this?

Thanks worthit...I'm not sure I have the guts to teleconference...I'm more comfortable here. But, I think it sounds great maybe at some point in time I'll try it...just not yet.....D.

It's much easier than the bi polar meeting which is in person. I'm usually exhausted from that one. Don't do well with people near me.

Thanks Worthit. I don't think I can talk easily via teleconference, except perhaps to someone I know really well face to face to begin with, and provided there is strong trust between us. Sharing experiences and offering support as we do on here gives us a chance to choose our words over hours if need be, and I find it a lot less threatening, except when I worry that I am being tracked by intelligence forces, then I just shut up altogether.
