When I got the DX my t said he's going to keep me as a client. That he has 2 other SzA. Is it really hard to find a T with this DX?

You're lucky to get a T, I keep bringing it up but to no avail. I think it was because I asked for CBT (which I was told would be beneficial) but my new Dr said it would be hopeless for what I have as is used for depression and anxiety. Sorry I didn't answer your question, but I'm sure someone will :P

The clinic I go to see my pdoc requires that you see a therapist there at least once every 3 months if you're on meds

I've been seeing my T a long time. He and my PDoc both help me with issues stemming from the sza. I don't see my PDoc very often, but I do see my T every two weeks. If I could afford it, I'd see him more often.

I see a therapist every week at this point, though it's becoming unaffordable while I am on short term disability. I have to invest in him though - he's the one writing up all my disability paperwork and keeping it extended! No way I can work right now.

I find him helpful. He was the third therapist I contacted.

I have a T. I was seeing my first T for about a year and a half and then when she left I got a new one. I'm loving my new T. She really challenges me more than my other T did, and that's a good thing.

I have a therapist that I see about once per month. That is the longest that I have ever gone without seeing a T. This means that I am doing well mood wise and am tolerating the other symptoms. I am becoming more in tune with my other symptoms, so I know what to do to keep them at bay, even though some days nothing I do will make them go away. On those days I learn how to cope.

Yes, I do have a therapist. I'm not going to therapy for my SZA though.
