I've only had hallucinations for a very short period of time and it was a little bit before and during an episode where I was up for 4 days. Then I had paranoia that the government was out to get me for awhile. I have no idea if I had a flat affect or not, I think I may have. My hygiene was bad. I don't think I will ever hallucinate again unless I have an episode of not being able to sleep like that, and the government thing seems so far fetched now I can't see myself ever believing it again. Did they misdiagnose me?

Thanks, I have to keep going to the clinic I am currently going to and there's only one psychiatric nurse practitioner there. I guess I could bring it up with my therapist when I see him again. I mean, it wouldn't really make a difference as I'm stable now. I was previously diagnosed with Bipolar 1 Disorder

It probably wouldn't make sense to get off all my meds just to test what happens this time...

I guess my paranoid delusions were pretty bad. I thought the people at the clinic I go to were messing with me and trying to poison me. I ran into my room every time someone knocked on the door and had a panic attack because I thought the FBI was coming to get me.

I guess it's hard to accept since I'm doing amazingly well now.

Be happy you are doing amazingly well and let the professionals debate your diagnosis. I wish I was doing well but I've been hallucinating all weekend and wondering whether I need more Haldol. I see my pdoc on Thursday, something to bring up then.

I've very happy for you that you're better! Jealous even.
