My meds might be changed again. However, this time to Clozaril. I am wondering if anyone has tried this medication and were their any adverse side effects? I already know that I will have to get bloodwork done every week for a while.
Thanks for reading this.

im on it, they had me at 300mg a day, i take it at night because i like being normal during the day. It makes me drowsy and dizzy. and ive drank a few times and almost had a heart attack/blood pressure drop. i suggest eating right, not drinking alchohol. excersize. I dropped my dose to 200mg to be safe.

Out of all the medications I've taken, Clozaril was and is the best. However, I gained 20lbs in two months which made me stop taking it. I hope you find something that you can tolerate and like. One of the hardest things for me is trying to accept that I need medication.

I was on it when it first came out. I remember it made me drool alot. Really gross. Given how dry my mouth is now, that may not be a bad thing. I do know that Clozaril was a life changer for people with schizo illnesses. It was like they stepped out of the dark of night into a bright, sunshiny day. I hope you find the right meds for you. I hope that the sun comes out for you.
