Hi everyone,
I was on Invega Sustena 150mg monthly injection for an year and I noticed that I couldn't ejaculate. I could reach a climax but it wasn't as pleasurable as before and there was no ejaculation happening. I know it isn't my other meds that caused this because the Invega was the one that was newly added. I've been on my other meds for a while with no issues. So having spoken to my psychiatrist I was switched to Abilify 10mg daily but I'm still having the sexual side effects that the Invega brought on. I want to know if anyone else is having side effects like this? If so how did you handle it and how long did it take for everything to return to prior functioning level?

I was put on Abilify and my whole sex drive flew out the window. I was constantly complaining to my psych about this and he tried increasing my dosage, saying that sometimes patients will get their sex drive back when the dosage is increased. After a while, with no improvement, I took myself off the Abilify, and my sex drive came back.
