Hello all! Im new to this site and forum. I'm having trouble right now expressing and coping with my feelings. Maybe my social skills have just diminish to a point to where its too hard to communicate, I dont know. I'm finding it very hard to concentrate on anything and soon maybe facing homelessness. I don't know how to regroup quickly and be able work a job. I can't depend on disability alone its just not enough to pay bills. When i'm working I cant sustain it for a long time. So, I feel basically trap not sure what to do. Thanks for reading!

Welcome to PC. The scizoaffective forum isn't as active as some of the others, but if you stick around for any length of time you'll find that the boards as a whole are a good place for support. I'm sorry you're going through a difficult time. I know from experience how difficult it is to have trouble concentrating. Is there any mental health center near you that works with people in your current situation? I know there is one near me that helps pay first months rent and things like that for those who are not mentally stable. I'm sorry you feel trapped...
Thanks for this!

I feel the same way right now. I feel so stuck and I have no income. My symptoms have been awful and its taking forever for me to just apply for SSI or SSD. Gathering records alone is taking awhile and my psychiatrist won't write letters for anyone. Fortunately my therapist does so I will have at least one statement from a professional. Its awful worrying each day and managing the hallucinations and depression.
