Hi you lovely people! I have found that i like the night better cause its quiet and i can take care of business without all the noise of the day. no worries cause i have my mp3 player to sleep by. Just wondering if anybody else likes the night to be up and about. just made a cup of coffee. I'm experiencing some anxiety right now but it will pass soon.

Is there anyone in here suffering from panic and anxiety and on a med for that? I'm sure there is but with me my brain is wired for a benzo and without it i short circuit and have a breakdown. My pdoc knows i suffer from extreme anxiety and went from .5mg klonopin 2x daily to 1mg 3x daily and am doing much better. I also take trazadone for sleep but i take it in the morning when i go to sleep.

happy dreams everyone

Hello dmhobbit: The Skeezyks loves the dark quiet of the deep night. I often can't get to sleep or I wake up late at night & can't get back to sleep.
I get up & do a sort-of walking meditation walking around-&-around our dark & quiet home sometimes for as much as two hours. As it happens, I did just that this past night & the night before. I enjoy this so much that, if I haven't done it for a while, I start to miss it. The Skeezyks is no longer on any med's.

I ultimately had to switch back to daytime work, but yes, most definitely. I drove a night-shift cab for a few years, and I greatly enjoyed being out and about "taking care of business" while it seemed most of the remainder of the world was sleeping.
Thanks for this!

I once worked for a computer resale company in Phoenix, AZ that started at 5am and ended at 1:30pm. That kinda screwed up my evening when my roomate and friends were over to play xbox. i had to get up at 3am to get my coffee and get moving. best part was nobody was on the freeway. I kinda got used to it but i had no computer just tv. Anyhow we all move on. I've been on SSDI since 2006 and don't or can't work. God bless you.

My normal state is nocturnal. It makes work and appointments difficult but I sleep better if I go to bed in the early morning instead of at night. I'd rather do my grocery shopping at night when there are almost no people around too.

I have generalized anxiety and agoraphobia but haven't found any meds that help with anxiety but don't make me more depressed. It's probably just avoiding dealing with anxiety to want to do errands in empty stores and quiet streets but I'd be nocturnal anyway.

same here i shop early morning or late at night to avoid crowds and in the morning shopping i'm the first in the store and i feel no tension or anxiety with the quiet and no shoppers.

the only thing that helps me sleep is klonopin. i was on xanax but it wasn't working and the withdrawals were hellish. so sad for all those millions of people on it when klonopin is so much better and lasts a lot longer in the body.

Namaste
