I have schizoaffective disorder. I've experienced psychosis from an early age. My visual disturbances and hallucinations have always seemed, normal. They didn't scare me, aside from the sleep paralysis, and they almost never surprised me. However, a couple of nights ago, I turned off the lights, and the little blue notification light on my phone was on. It was weird, there was a long blue trail coming off of it. I could almost paint with the light, like those long-exposure photographs you see. That wouldn't really be that odd, but what was odd was that it surprised me, disturbed me almost. The light was almost alive, like it had thoughts and desires and an agenda. My question is, why is this different, and should I be concerned? I'm stable, on lithium and Latuda, just coming off of Zyprexa. I'm on 5mg of Zyprexa now, from 20mg. There are other strange things that concern me, but I can post about those later.

Hello Angel...: The Skeezyks doesn't know the answer to this. My two thoughts, with regard to it are first that it is something that is perhaps best talked about with one's prescribing physician. And the second is that it may be the worry over this, & the other concerns you alluded to, that is the biggest concern here. I know that, in my own case, the anxiety I feel over things just seems to make everything seriously worse. By the way, I had sleep paralysis for many years. And for many of those years, I had no understanding of what was happening with me & no one I could talk with about it. It was terrifying.
