first I need to say I suffer from EXTREME anxiety and panic attacks. It's so bad I have to have my best friend come with me shopping and errands. So describing that my pdoc upped my klonopin from .5mg 2x a day to 1mg 3x daily and have been sleeping more.. which is ok with me as long as I don't sleep the whole day though.
I used to be on Xanax but it only helped for a short while. The klonopin is working longer and my anxiety is much less to the point I don't even tremor or shake like a cerebal palsy patient. Any kind advice is welcome. Particularly those already on klonopin. ![]()

Ativan was better for me, but I'm glad Klonopin is working. I hope it works for you long term (it seems that most people can get results long term). My only advice is that if you ever taper off, try to get a doctor to do the taper off Valium or Tranxene, not straight off Klonopin.

Klonopin has helped me with anxiety..it also helped with my racing mind..I still have to have my mom take me on errands and appointments but that's mainly due to paranoia which just won't stop..
It does help me sleep..I have been on it for years at the same dose..at first it pretty much knocked me out and I'd sleep for what felt like days..but that evened out.. |

Klonopin has helped me a lot with panic attacks. I was a bit scared of getting addicted to it but when I miss a dose I'm ok so for now I think I will stay on it.
