I have hallucinations every single day. Even on meds. Night time is the worst for me that's when they get really bad. I'm exhausted from managing them and losing sleep. Last night I saw shadow people in my room and could hear them rustling through my things. It gets so frustrating.

I wish I had some advise for you... but I don't. I just wanted to let you know that you are not alone. When I get really manic the nights are the hardest/worst for me too because of the shadow people. Right now I'm currently in the stage of fearing them but not seeing them. I know they're out there just watching me to show themselves. My doc upped my meds, so I'm waiting to see if it helps. Best of luck... and if you need to talk pm me.

I had my antipsychotic increased too. So far its helping to ease some of the hallucinations.

That's great...also you should know that if you smoke the effective dose of your medication is cut in half so switching to vaping can help.....it's the actual smoke rather than the nicotine that does this.

I used to see shadow people. Now when I hear annoying voices I send the shadow people on them.

Sorry you're struggling so much with hallucinations. I'm lucky that zyprexa works for me. I forgot it the other day and was bombarded by hallucinations again. I won't be going off it any time soon.

I hear the voices of Jesus and Mary insulting me and punishing me. I think every other person is them when I walk out of the house. Delusions are easier to manage when you are listening to something like music with your headphones. It stops the auditory hallucinations for me, but not the visual. Have you tried wearing dark sunglasses? |
