My mom told me that I was diagnosed with schizoid personality disorder years ago. I didn't know this until today! Everything makes sense! Omg! I feel special. (In a good way.)

Glad you are feeling so good. Maybe you want to check out the schizoid personality forum and offer some encouragement to others!

Hi, it is great to have a name for the things that we experience and challenges. May I ask what is an AK?

I hope SqrqhJean doesn't mean AK-47.
Just kidding! Actually I felt the same way after my diagnosis. It's hard to have symptoms of a disorder and to blame them on yourself or not know there is a specific reason for them. It's such a relief to find out there are others like you who have the same issues. |

Welcome.
Speaking of labels, what other labels can we add to schizoid? Happy just doesn't fit well. How about emptiness or meaningless, I can relate to them. |
