My mom told me that I was diagnosed with schizoid personality disorder years ago. I didn't know this until today! Everything makes sense! Omg! I feel special. (In a good way.)

Hello fellow special/amazing people. <3

Glad you are feeling so good. Maybe you want to check out the schizoid personality forum and offer some encouragement to others!

You are a special amazing person.

Hi, it is great to have a name for the things that we experience and challenges. May I ask what is an AK?

I hope SqrqhJean doesn't mean AK-47.

Just kidding! Actually I felt the same way after my diagnosis. It's hard to have symptoms of a disorder and to blame them on yourself or not know there is a specific reason for them. It's such a relief to find out there are others like you who have the same issues.

Welcome.

Speaking of labels, what other labels can we add to schizoid? Happy just doesn't fit well. How about emptiness or meaningless, I can relate to them.
