Funny, there are 14 pages on the borderline forum and barely 1 on schizoid... Think this is a function of how many of us there are or how seldom we communicate?
Not sure I would categorize myself as schizoid--I have been diagnosed with everything... I definitely have the traits and most of my biological family has some form of schizoid, schizotypal or schizophrenia. But I loathe labels. Not great experience in the system... does the label help you guys? Sometimes I think it creates a self-fulfilling prophecy... Plus the stigma is different as a personality is the fundamental basics of who a person is... I probably have some weird combination of every disorder in the DSM. |
