I kept coming across this book in my search for a paperback to help me cope with being schizoid. It isn't a self-help book, but it covers famous loners and people who are introverted, and celebrates these aspects of people. So its like a positive book about being a loner and introverted. We always get told there's something wrong with us, or we're sociopaths or psychopaths. I'm a loner and I have issues killing flies. Being a loner doesn't mean you're going to hurt or kill someone. In the end I decided to buy this book because of the awesome reviews and because it sounds very empowering. Anyway, just wanted to share it with my fellow schizoids.

I've seen this book for sale at our local Barnes & Noble in the past. I never bought it. I also saw a used book one time that was titled: Urban Hermit I thought about buying that one too. But, realistically, I don't do allot of reading nowadays so I probably wouldn't get around to reading it. It is good though that at least occasionally a book comes out that discusses the positive aspects of being solitary.
