I did a vid to a friend today....and....I was shocked to see how little emotional expression I have. I re-did the video 5 times until I was satisfied with being a little more expressive, but I had to make an effort.
What advice can I get on being emotionally expressive? In my face and voice? __________________ Be uniquely you, because you are a beautiful person regardless of whatever diagnosis you have. Hm-m-m-m... well... without having seen a vid of yours, it's difficult to say specifically. At one time, I did face videos on YouTube. At first I had no idea what I was doing. But, after a while, I just sort-of fell into a sort-of "persona", if you will. Based on that experience, I would say, watch "talking-head" videos on YouTube. Try to find one, two, or more YouTubers whose style you like & see if there is some way to adapt what you like about their style to your own. Practice making your own videos & watch them. Notice what you like & don't like. Practice what you like. Change or drop what you don't. Practice in front of a mirror. These are the sorts of things that helped me. Gee... now I'm wishing I was still doing YouTube vid's...
