To me is a big struggle. I like having a chatz etc, and dont have anyone to talk, to go out, destroys me, the boredom is inmense, and also be all days in silence just talking with myself, feels like torture.

The thing is that I dont find people I like to be with, and even if people is friendly with me I preffer spend that time alone rather to be with them. Or well, this is what Ive always done, Im more open now, but due some circumstances, Im not in a good position to meet people.

So, do you suffer the loneliness ?

[Im not diagnosed with Schizoid, ive just read about it and I think matchs with me]

Not dx either but Idk where I fit in at this point. I don't suffer from loneliness but I live with my husband so that's probably biased a bit. I am alone about 50 hours a week because he works and does school and I really like being alone. He's an introvert so he doesn't bother me when he is home we sit together but do our own hobbies. I also have a lot of pets and they annoy me when they want to cuddle all the time so I guess I feel like I'm never really completely alone I just don't have human contact for the majority of my week and I very much like it.

Yes, have a husband, even if you dont see it all days, doent match for the kind of loneliness I mean.

Im trying to see if there is others here who have just 0 people to talk, and see if that affects them or not.

I have been alone for 20 years (after divorce) and I am lonely. Some days are harder than others, I have friends I can talk to on the phone, but no one to hang out with. Lonliness affects a lot of people.

I don't feel comfortable around people. Sometimes loneliness hits me hard but I feel I'm stuck with it.

Loneliness is OK if you can entertain yourself but I haven't been able to do that recently.

I feel boredom more frequently than loneliness. Work (even from my home-office) certainly helps against loneliness. And knowing what we'll be talking about (at work) reduces my social anxiety, so it's like a win-win situation (as in fighting loneliness and at the same time fighting social anxiety).
