i've heard that schizophrenic can have problems tracking/following things with their eyes. (probably just something the government is doing to me with their electronic devices) annyways, i've been having these problems for about a year now--since my schiz symptoms got worse. I have so much trouble now with following moving objects with my eyes...everything just turns into a blurr. And lately, even when im not looking at a moving object, my eyes just get blurry for a split second and i cant focus...it kind;ve feels like im going blind or something--im scared...
also, in the past, but not recently, my eyes would sometimes get stuck in one position, focused on one thing and i couldn't move them or shut them for a few minutes.
anyone else have problems like this?

the only problem i've been having lately, in the past year, is a huge oversensitivity to light. i was watching star wars in the theatre and the light sabre scenes were really freaking out my eyes. then again my eyes have always been bad. sometimes i can't make anything out for a while. like the clouds go in front of my eyes.

i can see better in the dark though. when the sun goes out i'm going to be all set.

My husband has been complaining about focusing on objects moving or still. I thought maybe it was just something else to complain about. He's on meds for schizophrenia, just started taking medicine and seeing a therapist. But my point is your not alone. That must be some sort of underwritten symptom. Sorry you have to deal with it.

I have been recently diagnosed as schitzo effective. My eyes have been "playing tricks" on me. I will be doing something like typing in chat and it says that i typed things that i have no recolection of doing (the goverment trying to controll us). I find myself staring at nothing. My eyes become cloudy and unfocused. I am on meds but they are not helping with the eyes.

i don't know if this has anything to do with what you're talking about, but i always think i'm going blind, because i can only see things most of the time if i'm looking right at them & everything else around what i'm looking at is moving & then when i look directly at it, it stops, but something else will be moving or blurry out of the corner of my eye.
i don't know if that even makes sense at all.

It makes sense to me that happened to me and it is weird. Talk to your eye doctor about it. It might be a symptom of some thing serious.

Medications that can affect vision include antihistamines, anticholinergics, digitalis derivatives (temporary), some high blood pressure pills (guanethidine, reserpine, and thiazide diuretics), indomethacin, phenothiazines (like Compazine for nausea, Thorazine and Stelazine for schizophrenia), medications for malaria, ethambutol (for tuberculosis), and many others.
