Hang on! You are THAT important!

I hear you. I don't know how many times I have asked the universe to send the earth straight into the sun...repeatedly just for the joy of boiling this bullsh-t off.

God knows people like me need someone who has experienced similar crap to stay in this world with us. There are so very few of us.

I sincerely wish there were magic pills or something I could pass your way. I truly with all of my being wish you peace.

Take care.

Hi, PaulsonLaw,

You're right. "29 years of hell really gets old." But you don't (you really don't) know what's going to happen in year 30. Or 31. You can't possibly have tried every single twist of the key in the lock. You're convinced you have, but I don't mean to insult you when I say you haven't. It's worth investing a couple more years in The Search. I know you feel you've tried it all and that there's nothing left to try. I just don't believe it. I just know several people who've "found it" when they were five, ten, fifteen years older than you. Look, like all of us, you're a random aggregation of stardust, like rocks and asteroids, who got the lucky chance to come together into a being who's conscious. And one day you'll just dissolve back into stardust. Right now, even taking into account how lousy you feel, you're still a stardust king, on a throne, with a crown. Want to calculate how many molecules get the chance to be conscious one day? It's an incredible privilege. It makes it worth keeping on trying to solve that lousiness, even if you only wind up with a couple of years of real peace. Without knowing you in the slightest, having heard no details whatsoever of your situation, I still affirm that it's still worth trying.

Peace on you, Brother, and take care of yourself.

Don't give up the ship. I never allowed myself to learn helplessness. That is something that I learned from fishing with my Dad. If something would break down he would just keep trying until he finally figured out a way to fix it.

Keep bailing ~ Shoe
