I see shadow "creatures". They are always scurrying behind something in the corner of my eye. My seroquel helps, but I still see them from time to time.

I hear this type of psychotic episode is a common type, do any of you experience shadow-type hallucinations? If so, what do yours look like?

I can't keep the flat properly clean. But I think some of the 'spiders' are not real ones! (And the ones that are real, are helping keep it clean)

Without meds, I see shadow people, and shadowy apparitions that float around. The people are shaped like people, seem solid, but are just made up of shadows or blackness or something. They have no faces or anything like that, just like a shadow on the ground. Sometimes, they are walking out of the corner of my eye into another room, or sometimes they are just standing very still. They normally don't bother me, but for one I used to see fly at the window in the kitchen door. I couldn't go near that door for months. I'm schizoaffective and bipolar I, fwiw.

Years ago in my mid to late teens I would see out the corner of my eye the silhouette of a man that was hunched over and wore a top hat and cape. He reminded me of Dr. Jekyll. Today I have evolved into seeing bugs out of the corner of my eye. But the more I get stressed the more the bugs move into my peripheral vision to the point where I'm seeing them dead on. Also, as they move into my peripheral vision they become more and more defined, larger and seem to multiply. If I get really really stressed those bugs start crawling all over me.
