Hi:
My adult son had a "tantrum" tonight, because he was angry at his voices. He was screaming and throwing things around, including breaking drinking glasses. I left the house during this tantrum because it didn't feel safe. I returned and got him and we went away from the house to cool down. He wasn't eager to return home and even sat in the car in the garage for a while after we got home. I entered the house and found that he'd thrown things all over the kitchen and living room. He told me he would clean it up. We've been home an hour and a half and he's done nothing. He's sitting and watching tv, and there's broken glass all over the kitchen floor. WTF?!?!? |

I suggest that you help him. That doesn't mean you have to like it.

Help him pick up? Or help him in general?

Like give him some meds for the psychosis, as soon as possible. Voices drive me up a wall too.
