How do you cope with them? When they start bothering me I do what my ex-therapist told me to try. She told me some of the people she talks to would put on headphones and blast music to drown the voices. It helps sometimes but sometimes I'm not able to do this and sometimes it makes it worse. You guys have any other coping mechanisms for auditory hallucinations?

Hi Erti, sometimes when the voices get really bad walking around helps for me. Another idea is to talk to someone if there is someone available to talk to, especially if there is someone you can talk to about hearing voices. I find that talking to someone about what I am experiencing can help make me feel better, even if it doesn't make the voices go away.
Hope this helps!
Thanks for this!

Music helps... mind you, it keeps me awake just as badly as the voices.
