Sometimes an argument will do it. I had a big upset when I got home from holiday, my landlady left an upsetting note through my door, and I've not been out of the house since Friday. Don't think I've eaten since Saturday. (I might have had a big bar of chocolate. Actually, I did...) But it's gradually getting better, and perhaps as the argument fades you'll start to feel better too.

That's peculiar. Has there been anything else going on? I don't know your gender, if you were female I might suggest hormones playing a part, but even so, that's still odd.

i'm on a birth control so i doubt that its hormones. My dad is in a psychiatric program right now and he only gets to see me on weekends, i've been depressed about that. but its odd that it was right when i woke up

Sounds like you've got a lot to be concerned about. Perhaps the voices were a hangover from a dream?

Have you called your doctor? I had this over the weekend, increased my meds (doctor said i could if it was urgent) and it's maddening. Literally.

I know how this is. I wish I could offer some support but it sounds like everyone else here is saying what I'd say anyways.

I just went through that and they said we could up my medication.

Hopefully things will get situated for you soon!

Are you responsible for him, his caregiver? Maybe this is too much for you right now?

That must be really stressful. It's no wonder that you're experiencing some problems. Do you know when your Dad is getting out? How long has he been in? Do you see anyone other than your Grandad?

I agree with mgran. That sounds terribly stressful. So you normally live with your dad? You're actually just staying at your grandpa's house until your dad's back home because you don't want to be alone? Can you stay with someone else?

its going to be 3 more weeks, though he can come home on weekends. I don't have anyone else who would take me to my doctor appointments.

So, you haven't been able to go to the doctor while your father's been inside? That must be tough. How long has it been? Not long till the weekend, fortunately. I hope seeing him makes you feel better.

I'm really sorry. Possibly the voices will go away once the stress has died down. At least you know the living situation is temporary. Can you be "elsewhere" during the day? Go to the library or a park or a coffee shop for a while?

Maybe you could view this as a chance to practice relaxation techniques or coping skills for the voices.
