|
My voices had a field day with that song, for a long, long time. I thought that song was about "me" weird? anythoughts...

Carly Simon was just trolling LOL.
Maybe when the voices are being rough on us, they pick things that they know we will find most insulting. Apart from you going through a rough patch and applying all sorts of demeaning things to yourself, I can't see why you would think it applies to you.

Also, I have rewritten a version of this song where the refrain is: you eat brains.... you're probably turning into a zombie... My wife and I are working on it together. Not quite done yet. |

I once got really psychotic and thought that ABBA were singing about the European Union regulations on the free movement of persons.
If I listen really close I can still hear it lol.

i once thought michael jackson was confirming to me that the dr. did in fact kill him. by his ghost screaming outside my window.
thats one of the few time where my hallu. & delu. came together.

maybe murder is too strong of a word, I can't prove that. Her song was dangerous to folks who were hearing voices. In those days, with LSD, I think close to everyone was hearing voices.
