im just riling discussion. hope i rile good. well not..rile...just puff up...like lots of talk...not anger...not at all...
i find some therapists flat out think people have OCD while some may have schizophrenia and vice versa.
so when is something just OCD or schizophrenia.

let me give my xample:
a few years ago i had a therapist that thought all i had was OCD
when i had a long standing therapist that thought it was schizoaffective.
i also read some people questions to ASKTHETHERAPIST who some say its just OCD and another may say their thoughts/etc are schizophrenia-like

also. Bipolar Vs Schizophrenia.
thoughts?

example:
ASKTHETHERAPIST questions.
some questions here.
googling stuff.
one time when i was 14 a psychdoc thought i had bipolar before i got schizoaffective w/ depressive subtype. ive only gotten that Dx once in my life.
but i strongly dont believe i have bipolar.

anyway thoughts?
im bored.

The first time I was hospitalized the doctors told me there was nothing wrong with me, yet not even a couple months before that my psychiatrist said I was Schizoaffective. Next time I was in the hospital I was told it was PTSD.

Psychiatry is a mess. It is not a science. There is no right answers. The only thing that should be focused on is healing. You do not need a fake label for this.

I know ups and down down way the hell downs and over again and doctors call that bipolar, cool. It helps them decide what medication to try first. It is a lot of guess work. If I went to another and he said, no, it is actually something call Beridjieot, I'd say fine, can I take the same drugs?

Notice the overlap in meds? That's what gets me. You can take atypical antipsychotics for moods, psychosis and I hear some for anxiety and insomnia. You can take lithium for unipolar depression, ritalin for attention and sometimes depression, prozac for all that ails you.. It goes on and on and on, so much over lap. Sure, some is off label but, it gets to a point where if it works, it works.

There are labels, that help guide you and then there are psych meds that you eat.
