I get them from objects and people. Luckily for me they now just tell me weird stuff. They used to accuse me, that was horrible. It seemed like people were accusing me. But thats over now.

I think we had a post like this sometime last summer, but it's nice to see it again. I like to read people's responses. I'm a bit of a voyeur like that, hehe. : )
I've never gotten voices coming from objects or people. Usually they come out of thin air or from shadows. When they come out of nowhere they are usually right next to my ear, right behind me, or from what I call an "alternate dimension". It sounds as if they're both in my head, yet far away in physical space.
I've never gotten accusations. Once or twice they kept suggesting for me to do things, but they weren't particularly demanding, so it was easy to brush off. Usually it's random noises, sound effects, or repeating something I've heard/said/thought.
Usually male or androgynous, except for the far away ones. Those are sometimes feminine.

I've never heard voices in any disturbing way. I've heard little things and I always attributed them to my imagination, which they probably were, but they seemed to come from outside of myself.. just kind of weird.
I've heard more sounds than actual voices and like Shayatanica described it always seems like a far distance away or like it's an alternate dimension. It's like I am hearing beyond the veil of reality as we know it.

I hear voices inside my head. The kids get scared or want crayons, there is bossygirl tells me things like put on my seatbelt, go
To work , clean house, call dr, then there is a mean one that tells me to cut and drive car off road sometimes they will send me images instead of voices. Ie i will see image of slashed skin mean voice wants or cookies kids want. I take care of kids , bossygirl
protects me and kids. None of us like meanvoice. Bossygirl pretty much kicks meanvoices butt lately though. :-) bossygirl gets on my
nerves though because she is so bossy. My favorite are the kids. Lately i started just buying them presents and listening to them more and they really like me. They are really , really sweet. I dont know if i invented them because i have no children or what, but i like them

I hear voices in my head most of the time. Sometimes they are outside my head but both are not very nice. They are very nasty and demanding and quite forceful. They make me extreamely paranoid about ppl around me and make me do things that I don't want to do. I also have really disturbimg images of bad things happening to either me or my friends and family. Sometimes its strangers but not often. Recently they have had sound FX and this is really disturbing!

Voices are rare for me thankfully. But I do occasionally get them. I sometimes hear people yelling and then I run out of my door to see if anyone was yelling. I hear the cell phone saying "Droid" (that is the kind of phone) all the time and my brother and my mom checks and no messages or emails and no one else hears it. I hear my name constantly. I hear the TV on. when I get bad, I hear the government telling me things like threats. I also hear whispering. They are mostly outside the head. I hear both female and male voices (when I do get them). The gov is a male and has a deep voice. I also get thought insertion which I don't hear with my ears and yet I can still tell the gender of the thought. My mind just went blank. Sometimes I don't know anything but other times I know more. I am very tired right now. My thought insertion is telling me horrible things right now and the last week or so. I know about my psychiatrist. I know I am depressed and anxious. I am thankful that its mostly silent in my head but not all the time.

I'm bipolar and growing up as a kid going to bed I would hear a group of voices which I called "the restaurant" because I couldn't tell what they were saying because they were talking in a low murmer, but I would always hear my dad's voice at the end which was the loudest voice. And then I would fall asleep.

When I moved to my new house, there were only a couple voices. One was just a breath, like one "haaa". I could hear it started in my parents room, then in the bathroom, then in my parents room again, then at the doorway of my bedroom. Then it was very quiet. then there was a loud "HAAA" right in my ear and I jolted up flayling my arms around trying push it away. Then there was one other voice right before I went to bed, it was deep "black man's" voice and it said my name very slowly right in my ear. That freaked me out.

Since I've been dx and on meds I've had no other hallucinations.

I am new to "voices". I first heard them in 2006 while I was training for an Olympic Distance Tri. I heard "Chris, can you hear us? We have this new technology!" As a chemical engineer who witnessed and reported illegal activity at a International pharmaceutical corporation and was "gang stalked", I thought my "voices" were from a technology called "directional audio". I also have a degree in biological sciences so I could explain them rationally.

Sadly, my war PTSD was exacerbated by my chemical engineering experience of witnessing endangerment of more than 300,000 patients, which can cause PTSD as well. Both of the latter caused additional comorbidities and I have been diagnosed with many disorders since 2001. Lately, I have been diagnosed as schizoaffective disorder. I now have auditory, olfactory, some minor visual, and taste hallucinations. I also feel dizzy on a very regular basis.

My auditory hallucinations are horrible 98% of the time. In fact, I have called them "sociopaths". Remember, I personally believe I have been affected by "directional audio" or similar technology. I am consistently threatened and told to commit suicide or die by a murder/torture snuff film. Also, I have been "told" that they know child sexual traffickers, organ traffickers, and drug traffickers who will murder for fun and enjoyment (i.e snuff films). My doctors and social workers tell me that I am completely delusional. Sadly, technology allows such possibilities.

I have also experienced extreme head pain and intra-cranial pressure that I believe are caused by non-lethal weapons such as homemade "Herf" gun, which is a microwave gun. Also, other RF weapons can cause body sensations. The latter is just true and there are people, electrical engineers included, that are sociopathic. As such, they will create schematics on "how" to create such weapons. In fact, you can find data on how to create a device that will disrupt any cell phone in your vicinity on Youtube. The device costs about $40 to make.

Anyhow, I have a major mistrust of all people. I cannot even work at Subway now. I have two degrees, have earned three Vice President's awards, optimized my process as a chemical engineer, earned spots in honor societies, and I have a huge empathetic heart for people. I am now applying for complete disability. I have learned that I am near a 20 on the Global Assessment Functioning Scale.

As previously mentioned, I am new and scared. In truth, I believe a group of people are trying to murder me via bullicide or poisoning. My "existence" is not fun any longer.

I have considered writing a book. Not to become "famous" but to tell my story. Sadly, pharmaceutical whistleblowers are, on average, completely destitute afterwards.

A few weeks ago, I heard what sounded like Beetlejuice screaming "BOO!" right in my face as I was trying to get comfortable before bed. Hmph. What an asshole, lmao. :/
Thanks for this!

Does the medication not lessen the voices?
