Can I start the new roll call? I thought it was a good idea. I liked having that thread for everyone to post to.

i'm here. Everyone still looks angry.. and the voices are quite loud right now. I had an okay day at work. I made a sundae and spilled a little of it.. and I forgot about the mess. Some girl working the drive through yelled at me for it and told me that she wasn't my babysitter and that I needed to get off my butt and clean up after myself.. I was going to.. I just forgot. I didn't cry until I got off work. I try really hard and I am so nervous today I can't stop shaking. and I can't sleep. so i really didn't need that. anyway.. i'm here. hi everyone.

It sounds to me like your co-worker completely overreacted to the spilled sundae. Everyone makes a small mistake like that from time to time. I'm sorry everyone still looks angry - that's really distracting, I am certain. But it sounds like you persevered and have been able to do your job in spite of all that. That's great!

yeah.. my manager jumped her for treating me like that. I love my manager she really understands. She said despite all I"m going through I did really good and that she was proud of me. That made me feel much better.

She sounds like an unhappy person. Too bad she had to share her misery with you on your first day.

I used to be pretty sensitive too. Maybe I would be again if I were starting a new job. It's scary. People should be nice to the new person. Some stores even give a name tag to new employees letting people they're new on the job, so customers can cut them some slack. You'd think the other employees would hold their fire until your second week - at least.

I've actually seen name tags that say "I'm new" or something like that. I love it. I know Target has some kind of special name tag that lets customers know if the employee hasn't been there long.

One of our law students worked security at Target before coming to law school. She said crooks go through the lines with the new employees, because they figure they can get counterfeit money and things past them more easily. She recommended they do away to the 'new employee' tags for that reason. I'm glad they didn't take the recommendation. I always try to be nicer if I know they're new.

i think that's a very good idea. the new name tags! We have different colors shirts, but I don't think people pay attention to that.

No, the customers wouldn't know about the color code.

When's day two?

Here *waves* . Exhausted and back at full-time work. I don't know how I ever worked AND studied full-time.

Here and feeling miserable. Day 3 or 4 of cold from hell and my husband has been busy nights so it's just me and our two year old. I keep forgetting my meds too and I'm sure that's part of my headache right now. Ugh, put me out of my misery.

I am hearing soft voices all day long. More like command voices which are the worst type. Telling me to hurt myself, sometimes kill myself, destroy walls (because the government hides in there and the same with everything else). I heard a voices saying "fly away" and I don't know what that means. I know the birds movements means very much to me. It is a show being put on for me, for others as well. I constantly hear laughter directed at me. I have already hurt myself in the last few days/ weeks. I want to do more. (don't worry I am NOT suicidal, just wanting to give myself brain damage). Very depressed and realistic. I am hopeless about my future and my psychologist threatened to take me to the hospital. I refuse to go. I don't want more anti psychotics since I believe I am not psychotic at all.

Firebird, have you tried anti anxiety meds or anti depressants? Those might help take the edge off a little

I am now in the hospital. I don't know if they have beds. I took more klonopin around 24 if them. I am unsafe and have no control over myself. My psychologist threatened to take me into the hospital and here I am a day later. Thank you for being concerned. I worry about you guys when you have problems.
