My best guess would be accounting but I don't really know.

Accounting is super-competetive IMO. My old uni's accounting students are constantly fighting over results and stuff. I agree with maths or computing. Also consider art, music, or anything in the humanities. Foreign language degrees/translation, though those can be quite collaborative.

Basically, avoid the subjects (besides maths and computing) leading into highly remunerative jobs and you'll be OK.

I have an accounting information systems BS & computer science minor & an AA in music......all are very competitive IMO especially if you are looking into doing it for a career & not just getting the degree. If you are into anything just to get the knowledge, then anything will be less competitive. Music is not so much competitive, but you have to be involved in the performance of your instrument if you want to get the degree. Art might be more a personal.

I think any class could be felt to be competitive depending on how you go about it....if you are into getting the top grade in the class, then you will feel the competitiveness....if you are just there to get the knowledge.....they you can find almost any degree to be just a personal challenge.
