any ever have a feeling that someone or some people are around you? and that when you make a movement you see their reaction in your head and even react to it in real life. almost like a ptsd flashback except its not a memory and you know its not. its happening RIGHT NOW per se: in the moment. you know? you see them in your minds eye not in front of you but also the feeling that they are right there is connected to seeing them in your minds eye. and it happens all day long or for a long time?
...anyone get what im saying... __________________ "We're all born to broken people on their most honest day of living"

i just happen to find this on wikipedia about the minds eye. idk what to make of it
"The rudiments of a biological basis for the mind's eye is found in the deeper portions of the brain below the neocortex, or where the center of perception exists. The thalamus has been found to be discrete to other components in that it processes all forms of perceptional data relayed from both lower and higher components of the brain. Damage to this component can produce permanent perceptual damage, however when damage is inflicted upon the cerebral cortex, the brain adapts to neuroplasticity to amend any occlusions for perception. It can be thought that the neocortex is a sophisticated memory storage warehouse in which data received as an input from sensory systems are compartmentalized via the cerebral cortex. This would essentially allow for shapes to be identified, although given the lack of filtering input produced internally, one may as a consequence, hallucinate - essentially seeing something that isn't received as an input externally but rather internal (i.e. an error in the filtering of segmented sensory data from the cerebral cortex may result in one seeing, feeling, hearing or experiencing something that is inconsistent with reality)." __________________ "We're all born to broken people on their most honest day of living"

I told my nurse about having that once and she called it "monster under the bed syndrome" It wasn't bothersome to me though. Does it trouble you?
I see a lot of **** through my third eye though, not just people but lights and plants (often trees) and weird symbolic answers to problems I have, like ancient Greek memory gardens. Do you see anything else? __________________ Psychiatric Survivor "And just when I've lost my way, and I've got too many choices . . . . I hear voices!" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oLCfb54e_kM |

its very troublesome to me because i think its the police watching me and specific people i know or dont know yet waiting to hurt me if i even so much as turn my comp off.
...and yea i do. its also where i see my predictions of the end of the world and things that flash before my eyes that i know arent memories because its of me getting killed or me doing bad stuff etc __________________ "We're all born to broken people on their most honest day of living"

Flash backs and flash forwards... I tend think of them as visions because I don't initiate them, although the experience can be quite physical and not only visual. I am often horribly shaken by them. It puts me in a state of red alert. "Voices" and very loud tinnitus usually follow the same day. I don't think that kind of stress is a good thing, but I'm concerned that ignoring the visions is asking for trouble. They don't crop up for no reason at all, and I'm not convinced that we are all biology and no spirit. The HPA axis model needs to be considered in the context of living souls. __________________ Life is like a storm with millions of eyes. So deceptive.

but this specific one i didnt see as a vision because it was happening in real time to me for hours. as if i had a virtual reality simulator on my head and was walking around my house with it. except these things would interrupt in my mind like mini video clips but in real-time. you know? as if someone would do if they were right next to me. except no one was physically there. then i got paranoid. like they were sending their real time reactions to my mind. __________________ "We're all born to broken people on their most honest day of living"

Hmmm, I'm not sure exactly if this is what you're talking about, but sometimes I think there's someone behind me, and no matter how many times I turn around he sticks to me so I can only catch a glimpse. And sometimes I feel like I can see people looking at me inside themselves. I remember a bus ride that was awful because the whole ride, even though most people weren't looking directly at me I knew they were and I could feel it and see them all staring straight at me no matter where they were.
