Do you celebrate?
we have lived in a place where no one ever trick or treated for so long that we dont do anything... dont know what it will be like in our new place this year... we plan on just turning out the lights and seeing if anyone even comes round the area...I dont have any money to do anything anyway...

We live in the big city so we go around the neighborhood and to relative houses with the kids in costume. I don't dress up any more due to financial reasons.
Today is also me and my husband's anniversary. Eight years. We don't really get to celebrate because of Halloween, at least not yet. I imagine when the children are grown this will be a good day for an anniversary.

Halloween isn't as big in the UK as it is in America, but it's getting bigger every year. When I was a kid, we never did anything for Halloween and never got trick or treaters. Now every year the local youth group I help out at throw a big party for the kids so they're not out on the streets in the dark. It was a big success last night - we had over 60 kids all dressed up
