I found a couple videos on Youtube that accurately describe my psychotic experiences. I showed them to family members so that they could better understand my illness.

This may trigger uneasy feelings for some - you've been warned.

The one that was saying stupid so much sounds just like Steve! That is so weird. The mean female is also like Steve just a different gender. Creepy

well i can relate but it's never in different voices, it's my own voice and it's like I'm always talking to myself in my head and arguing with myself and it's only ever like that when my thoughts are racing in kind of a manic state. It hasn't been like that in a couple of months. it's always paranoid and illogical banter though so that's the same. :/ it's very stressful.

I don't have visual hallucinations so I don't relate as much to the second video.

The auditory hallucinations... "worthless, pointless, stupid" "she touched that!" ...sounds EXACTLY like my voices. I'm even thinking about having my pdoc listen to it so she knows how bad the voices can get. The healthier folks I see commenting on those videos said they could only make it through a minute of the noise. For those of us who never catch a break, how on Earth do we survive hearing this negativity all the time? I'm so glad these videos exist so that people can know just how much we struggle.

I can handle one voice, but that many voices at one time I was straining to tune them out after a couple minutes. The visuals would be extremely challenging to deal with as well. Those of you with it even close to that have my respect.
