Okay, so i registered here a while back, but just returned. Anyway, I'm what my pdoc calls a 'high-functioning schizophrenic". It been a decade since I've been in a psych ward. I don't hear voices anymore or have delusions (though I'm still not sure what was real and what wasn't before i started taking my meds). After I got medicated I got a degree, internship, & a good job.

Recently I've been struggling with depression and compulsive thinking. My mind is always trying to figure out the right way to think and how to be the right person. Now I understand that there is no 'right way to think' and you can only be yourself, but my mind just doesn't want to listen. But literally, my mind drives me crazy. I also have issues with alcohol. Anyway, I'm not looking for a solution, so to speak. I just needed to vent. I really enjoy PC. TY

Thanks for this!
