i discovered internet forums in the early summer of 2010.

forums of all kinds.

the past year the only sites i go on now are news sites and forums. mainly forums. i used to use the internet for more. now my interest in the internet is not much more than forums.

im thinking of leaving a couple of forums i goto and keeping just one.

at this time im not sure if ill do it and if i do im not sure at this time which ones i will be deleting my profiles from.

what i can say is that they pertain to mental health.

i might delete all my profiles on other places and keep this forum. i might. idk yet. most likely though.

yea there is and im a little ashamed i dont use it to its full extent. i dont do much of anything anymore. no motivation to. lately ive been doing more. which is great because im bypassing the sadness. but now my dad starting saying i need meds again or that hell call someone to "come pick me up". which hes talking about the police or hospital.

but i feel so much more paranoid and seeing stuff.

LAST NIGHT MY GUY FAWKES MASK CAME TO LIFE. forreal he was telling me that i need to make a plan to do something to capital of usa. and i started screaming at the top of my lungs and my dad ran into my room and said i need to take my medication.

this is my guy fawkes mask. its on my wall.
im obsessed with history/government and i love this guy. he tried to blow up parliament in 1605 in england and kill the king.
hes my hero.

this is when i'd start thinking of taking meds

It's a great mask but I don't think I could sleep with another face in my room! That's pretty neat that your dad still comes to you when you have nightmares or wake up screaming. My parents wouldn't, I remember my dad yelling at me once. I kept it to myself ever since.

You mentioned you went to see Silver Linings Playbook, I finally went today. What got to me was the way the dad kept telling the son, stay with us, I want to spend time with you. But by the end of the movie the dad does realize he can't make up for the time he didn't spend with his kid when he was little. We have to fix it ourselves.

well i dont see it as a bad thing other than that he scared me. him and i are actually really good friends. weve known each other for awhile. haha hes actually really funny and a very classy guy.

My son and I went to see that last weekend. Did you like it?

The last movie we went to together was Cloud Atlas which was amazing. Silver Linings Playbook paled in comparison. It was okay, though.

Why is that off?

I have other forums I go to. There're a couple of other mental health forums, but honestly it's difficult to maintain real connections on too many forums. I mean you have to be there regularly and interact. At least for me, I don't have the time to really be that intense on more than one. It's too bad, because they all have slightly different feels to them. Occasionally I'll drop in on one of the other forums, but no one there really knows me anymore. People come and go so much. So ... <shrug>

I prefer PC. It has a nice feel to it. Smart people. Accepting. And it's doesn't shut down discussions of non-medication alternatives for sz or the idea of recovery - which is extremely important to me.

I only come to the PC forum and sometimes to a very small gaming forum, but not often. I used to be on a lot of forums, too, but it's too emotionally overwhelming with arguments and trolls and cliques and so on. I also try not to comment on any articles or things because it is too emotional for me.

I like failblog and Cracked. Those are my favorite web sites. They are funny and informative.
