Hi, this is my first post in the forum. I'm posting in this section since, in addition to my physical fatigue, I hear lots of voices.

All the time, I hear (internal and external) involuntary voices which are extremely degrading and provoking. These voices (accompanied by intrusive thoughts) create a tendency to harm myself. Beside the psychological problem, I'm really restless in the body, such as my spine sways; and my muscles/tissues are being irritated so that you have the need to press them all the time. Below I list my symptoms,

mental symptoms:
brooding
hearing voices
intrusive thoughts
fatigue

physical symptoms:
(internal) restlessness
(muscle) irritation & being tense
fatigue

The one solution I've come to is: to hold my breath forcefully for a few seconds before passing out. And then when I exhale, I feel extremely healthier for a few moments. During these moments, there are no hallucinations and no mental fatigue... I also do get a sense of control without the need to brood.

What I want to know is what happens during the forceful inhalation in the brain?
What I experience when holding my breath is a sense of inward pressure towards the brain (excluding trembling and the sense of passing out).

The only thought I would have is maybe the level of oxygen in your brain is being affected.

Have you seen a doctor about these symptoms? If not, then I think it's very important that you do. Okay?

I don't know about the oxygen thing.

Here is what I do know.... I get in these episodes where I feel like my bones are trying to jump right out of my skin. My heart races, I am extremely restless. I feel like I could sprint for two or three miles. I used to think it was something physical going on, but now that I'm older I realize it's something to do with my mental state effecting my physical sensations. I remember sitting in the doctor's office rocking back and forth getting more and more "frenzied" or whatever, and wondering why in the world they didn't care how much distress I was in. This was when I was like 19 or 20 years old.

When you get that physical feeling do you also feel very aggitated and irritable?

Also, do you have any type of diagnosis? If this is really causing you trouble you may want to see a doctor about it.

i get all those too.

but hm the oxygen thing... i got a test once and my oxygen in my body was kinda low.
i suspect it is a lot.

I really dont think its a good idea holding your breath. Without breathing I could die (I wont say you, because I dont want anything to happen to you). It could be and this is only a 'could be' so not really true, or well it could be, but I doubt it, that when you hold your breath your brain goes into hyperdrive like 'what the hell is going on , where is my oxygen' and chemicals are released and parts of the brain are shut down to conserve what little oxygen is there , so it could be the part of your brain that looks after hallucinations and mental fatigue are switched off.

Now Im thinking it would have been a good idea if we were built with switches and we could switch stuff on or off. like our feelings. Maybe in the future.
