cyber's a regular who has been around for a while - at least that I've seen. I'm just hoping he's ok.

I'm here! Thanks Costello, Gr3tta, and Piraeus for asking about me.

I wrote out a lengthy post last night and when I hit "submit reply" the site timed me out and the post was lost! It was getting late and I was just too tired to retype it so here I am today giving it another go. Only this time I'm going to copy it before I submit it just in case I get timed out again.

Ariel (puppy) is still all consuming. She turned 4 months old as of yesterday and we've had her for two months. I'm with her on Mon., Tues., and Thurs. from 8AM-8:30PM; and Wed. and Fri. from 8AM-5:30PM. On Sat. I also have her from 9:30-11AM but then my housemate takes her for the weekend unless he needs to go out or do something and then I'm back to watching her again. I'm hoping that within 2 months Ariel will be completely housebroken and I can go back to a normal daily routine. One can only hope.

Yesterday I worked all day out in the yard clearing branches and twigs so that the property is clear for me to mow today. Yesterday felt good to get outside away from the puppy and to work up a sweat and feel less overwhelmed.

Last week over 4 nights I woke up completely drenched from nights sweats and had to strip the sheets and mattress pad and wipe myself off each time. After the second night, I went in to see my endocrinologist and he ordered 18 tests of which all came back within range. Interestingly, this time he didn't check my hormone levels (thyroid and testosterone) but he did so 4 months prior. So I don't know what to make of the nights sweats. I'm thinking my thyroid took a nose dive those nights for some unknown reason. Being that I have a thyroid disease (Hashimoto's), I have read that sometimes the thyroid can intermittently sputter even if it's regulated well with thyroid medication. So that's my hypothesis but I'm not completely sure. Since my numbers came back good I'm afraid my endo might think I'm crazy. What I have found from past experience is that one of the hallmarks of my illness is phantom pains. I get body aches of unknown cause when I'm not doing well mentally. Maybe the stress of the puppy is getting to me? IDK. Although I joined Wild Divine to help with managing stress I have yet to really sit down with it on a daily basis because I'm never in my room during the day and when 8:30PM finally rolls around I'm just too tired to do anything, let alone focus.

So that's where I'm at. I see pdoc tomorrow.
Hugs from:

I've had that happen to me too. Frustrating, isn't it?

That's great! I've spent a bit more time outdoors these last couple of days too - fussing over my chickens. It's not anywhere near all day, though. I love how exercise and sunshine can improve my mood.

I hope you figure out what's going on. It does sound hormonal to me.

I haven't even joined yet. I'm trying to save all extra money to put toward home repairs and such. (Actually the chickens are getting most of my extra money right now. )

Let us know how it goes when you start. I do need to get into something like that.
