i often wonder if the people i hear in my mind are actually voices. i hear them loud like ita a speaker.

i just heard a man and woman fighting

the woman said: tell me something you care about honestly?
the man said: out children
the woman said: when have you ever cared about our children?

something exactly like that.

but then....
i dont think these are typical voices? i was thinking about something entirely different and they just popped into my mind.

this reminds me of like some sort of...idk...im starting to believe im picking up phone conversations or conversations from miles away or somethin thats intersecting my mind
or picking up other peoples thoughts or somthing about their lives they are having.

When I hear the screaming man (which has only been twice,) he is so loud he shakes the house. He was louder than an ambulance siren, even. It's the loudest one I hear. And it's not like in my ear, but like filling everything with the sound.

Maybe the bits of conversation are things you have heard, even on t.v. or something, and they replay themselves in your mind? Maybe you hang on to them subconciously for some reason. Just an idea.

Hmmm... I don't know but I was thinking about it and I think it may be a common concern for sz. Like i remember in school studying how some people think they are picking up radio signals in their minds, so they will put "protective" things on their roof (could be anything, like a tarp or tin foil,) or wear certain hats that for them block out the sound. It sounds kind of similar to that maybe.

It's okay. I think "that kind" is the most common kind, the paranoid kind. So, in the realm of schizophrenia, you're part of a majority.

I've been hearing convos lately too newtus. For years it was always singular/multiple voices whos words were directed at me, now there's fullblown conversations or arguments.

First time I thought it was the tv, but the tv was off. Then I thought maybe I'm imagining this convo, like a daydreaming type thing. But I couldn't stop it, even when I focused my thoughts on actual daydreaming, the conversation continued, and it was so mundane and irrelevant, not like anything I do watch, when I watch...

Convos are weird, still getting used to it.

Just wanted you to know you're not alone

i cant control it and i try to think of other things but it continues. i didnt start hearing full blown convos til a year ago but i didnt start hearing them a lot until around dec/january or a month or two later. something. i cant remember well.

i once heard a black guy talkig to this white guy. and then the black guy says to me "you know what to do right?" and i was scared. i didnt say anything. then they both laughed. idk what they were laughing at...

once i heard a whole family. mom and dad and two boys looking for their grandpa.

and thats not all of them. thats just a few...

I can see what you mean before when you said that when the voices were gone you felt lonely. If you were always surrounded by conversations, and then suddenly it was quiet, I think anyone would feel lonely.

Oddly enough, I feel lonely when the t.v. is off. When I have to go to sleep by myself I leave the t.v. on as long as possible. I'd rather fall asleep hearing them talk than the quiet, even though they are not talking to me and don't even know I'm there. I didn't used to be that way.
