My suicidal thoughts are to the point where I don't know if I can trust myself... But I really don't want to go to the hospital.. What can I do?

Remember that thoughts are just thoughts until you turn them into actions. Its okay to have the thoughts. You still have a choice whether to act on them, even though I know it doesn't always feel like it.
Sometimes in a really sharp moment you can shove your head under cold water to momentarily shock yourself out of it. Also can you call pdoc or t? Sometimes if you show a desire to keep yourself safe, they'll help you avoid hospital unless truly necessary.
I hope you feel better very soon.
Thanks for this!

Remember the thoughts are just lies. They will stop. Like Gr3tta says they are only thoughts unless you act on them.

I find when thoughts are really bad to disctract myself any way I can. If that doesn't work, to get out of the place I'm at even if I go for a walk or something. Or maybe try the water shock thing. Cold water on the face. Or, hold an ice cube really hard in your hand. It hurts but it won't hurt you and sometimes that relieves those type of things.

Yes, don't hold it in if you can, RER. These things can feel impossible to fight on your own but you don't have to. Been there a lot, got through it, still fighting and happy to help others if I can! Hang in there. It will be okay.
