It has rarely happened to me usually the cause in my case was sleep paralysis, which I usually enjoy! But on rare occasions can be bad.

I have had horrendous experiences. Once the voices convinced me that I could not go to sleep or I would die. They had so much power then that I believed they were trying to kill me. They were using magic against me and manipulating my body with it. They told me that I had lost my soul and without it you will die when you go to sleep. After so long I couldn't stay up anymore and started to drift away into sleep. As soon I started to drift I felt this incredible pain throughout my body as if someone were ripping the soul out of my body. It was almost like a shredding feeling that ripped into my body. After three days and 3 nights of drinking coffee and continuously getting attacked every time I drifted off I got so tired that I slept through the ripping feeling. It was horrendous. I woke up the next day feeling glad to be alive. The feeling after that got weaker and weaker until it faded away or 'they' decided to stop tormenting me with it.

Another time 'they' were mad at me for using magic commands. I had realised the power of words and used them to cast my magic. They convinced me that God was upset with me for using these commands. Every time I would go to speak it felt like my guts were about to fly right out of my belly. It was as if I were about to burst from the midsection. I had to tie a scarf around my belly real tight and not speak to anyone.

They also developed a memory eraser on me. They would continuously zot me with it and poof my memory was gone. It took awhile but I actually increased my memory by fighting it and every time I could remember easier. After awhile it didn't work anymore at all and so they stopped using it.

I found that the power of the mind is the greatest defence. Imagine that every time they attack you that their attacks grow less in damage. Or that the more the voices talk the quieter they get. Your thoughts can be your greatest weapon.
Thanks for this!

I have a monster getting on top of me and suffocating me. The other hallucinations where I got hurt turned out to be self-inflicted wounds.

Oh, yeah my meds are what makes my hallucinations go away the most. Meditating--clearing my mind helps sometimes but other times the hallucinations are too strong..........D.
